I would put Vos in there too who really should’ve been the third mic from the beginning instead of Jim shithead Norton. It’s not a popular opinion but I think Vos & Opie actually had great chemistry. Throw Colin, Patrice, and Bob Kelly in there occasionally and you wouldn’t need Ant either and certainly not Worm..

We definitely agree on Burr. I would give Vos another try though. Check out the Birbiglia/JBL shows if you haven’t heard them. He is so far ahead of Jim comedically it’s a shame Norton was ever born.

Intern Cuckcold aka Intern Sean was hilarious when they berated him for being a suicidal closeted mope. Blind Stevie had some great appearances including stupidly bringing his mother on where she hit on Troy Quan openly in front of her humiliated son. Intern Noah whom the staff paid for him to sleep with a porn star just to make Jimmy aggravated because that porn star wanted to charge him like $1,500 for oral. Francine was an intern at WNEW who came back for various bits. Lady Di was a legendary intern who got her own week.

Jocktober was mostly shit

If you are familiar with radio it was amazing. And radio has only gotten worse since O&A left the air. Stuff like Terry Clifford, John and Jeff, Fugitive, Scott and Todd, Woody and Jim, Maxwell, and the Pests attacking people. Only a handful of Jocktobers are actually bad. The rest are amazing. And when O&A would Jocktober themselves it usually would usually produce some of the best shows. Them roasting their own shows with a packed room of comedians never gets old.

They never admitted it because management had some major issue when them buying prostitutes for the interns. Like threatening to fire level issues with them buying whores for the unpaid interns. So one day they are all on air joking about getting the interns laid. Next week you never hear about them doing that again except maybe one time in passing Opie gave a list of things that management banned. Stuff like getting interns to do dangerous stunts, drinking at bars with the staff, and hooking them up with escorts was normal for the show. But obviously not normal culture for the suits in management who were aghast that the shock jocks behaved like idiots.

From what I remember Jim ended up paying another hooker that week. Jim had said on air "I am quitting hookers permanently". This was when his mom called with the message "Doctor Phil says.....". But within a month or whatever he had already gone back to multiple hookers though and "relapsed". And now of course with the whole Viking Prince Alan thing he has now graduated into trying to marry them. Even when they have AIDS.
