Occasionally some dumb faggot with shitty taste will ask him about one of his unfinished trilogies. That's when he tells them to tweet @Tor. It's really pathetic.

These are all solicited. I did the same thing, and he completely ignored me before eventually blocking me. Maybe I didn't do a good enough job of posing as a faggot or my low tweet count gave me away, but if he had any real fans he wouldn't be so skeptical of unsolicited positive feedback since he would risk alternating them.

That was supposed to be a short story as kind of silly/fun quick work and he turned it into a two year long project that he is hoping to monetize. I cant imagine people want to buy a xmas story year round enough that it will pay the bills.

They don't, and what's worse is he doesn't own any of the intellectual property, so any motherfucker who wants to make a sequel or (God forbid!) a movie can do it without tossing a single shekel Pat's way. Even if he knocks it out of the park and launches a massive franchise, he'll get nothing but pennies for his efforts.

This is the kind of shit that makes me feel almost sorry for him. He's so deluded as to his own talent, creativity and productivity it's incredible.

The way he tells it he's putting out two best-selling novels a year, has two thirds of his canon optioned and is co-writing the screenplays and doing near constant tours and interviews. The reality is that he's writing an on spec godawful A Christmas Carol meets Death Wish wank-a-thon the excerpts from which he's shown are horribly researched and filled with basic spelling errors.

It's been said a thousand times but is always worth repeating. We are dealing with a literal pants shitting retard here.

Hasn't published a book in two years. Has abandoned multiple useless projects and finally settled on an already completely played out, already been done sequel to a classic novel. Ideas are BURSTING out of this motherfuckers thinking' meats.

Its nice to know that if this place stopped giving him shit tomorrow that he would still be a failure because he just isnt good at writing.

I like that not only is he writing on spec with nothing on the horizon and doesn’t even get freelance article work. When did he write (and not get paid) for the Hill? 5 years ago? I think the last “opinion” piece he did was that dumb “Covid shut downs hurt businesses in my area” like it was some great observation.
