This is now a beefers thread.
What in the actual fuck, do his books come with estrogen shots?

Those numbers are significantly overinflated as they take into great consideration the number of reviews the books have. Considering how many fake reviews Patrick bought, in addition to random Twitter faggots who spammed them with 5-star reviews, along with some 9gag trolls, there are way more reviews than would be there organically, thus tricking the algorithm into overestimating Fatty's earnings.

And here's another astute observation:

In other words Patrick is making in the neighborhood of $100 every 6 months.

On one of the older iterations of this forum, I tracked Pat's Amazon sales for almost a year. You can literally see when he sells a copy because it lists the "Stock Remaining" when something is low on stock. All I would do is check it every day and write down how many copies of each book was remaining in stock and see when the number would go down.

After tracking it for almost a year (I think I used to make monthly updates), it was quite clear that Pat was selling somewhere around 5-10 physical copies of all of his books per month. So maybe 100 copies a year.

This doesn't include ebooks or audio books, but even if he received 100% royalties (in reality he most assuredly receives less than 10%), he would only make like $1,500 a year off of physical copies of his books off Amazon.

Amazon is the biggest book seller around and his books are not available really anywhere else. Add in ebooks, audio books and all other venues and I doubt Fatty Cakes makes more than $2,500-5,000 a year off book sales. It is impossible for him to be making more.

He's obviously not making any money off of his books. If he really enjoys writing, he could do Amazon self-publishing and not have to worry about getting a book deal, while earning a bigger share of the profits. But it really isn't about the joy of writing for him, it's about the prestige of being a published author.

I was doing his e-books for a while. I didn't have any way to track the actual sales but I was just tracking his Amazon ranking. I don't have the files anymore but I don't think any of his books ever even got higher than 100,000. I was tracking Tucker Max's book I Hope They Serve Beer in Hell at the same time and he regularly sold more than Rick. Most of the time his books were ranked somewhere in the 300-600,000 range. I guess you could say he sold a copy or 2 when it jumped up to around 100-200,000. He might have sold a couple books/week.

He claims to have sold tens of thousands of books. Deducing the Tomlinson factual lie, I estimate he's broken the 10,000 mark on all the books combined. No way he broke 100k or he'd be saying hundreds of thousands. He says tens of thousands because it's factually correct but he can imply that it's closer to 70-80k than it is to 10-20k.

Isn't it widely known that it's extremely difficult to make good money off of books, even if you're a fantastic writer and have a decent seller?
Yes. Stephen King makes more off the advances and screen options than he does off book sales. And anyone with a 15 IQ could decipher that Stephen King is far more successful than Patrick.

Here's a fun fact. JK Rowling, who pat and his ilk love to criticize now, has made around $1.5 billion in royalties from her Harry Potter books. That's Billion, Rick. With a B.
That’s not strictly book sales though. She also served as the basis for 8 blockbuster films and a massive marketing empire of merch that losers like Pat gobble up.

Nah that's strictly book sales. And it's just the main 7 Harry Potter books. Not any of the spin-offs or movies or plays or anything.
