There are a lot stricter regulations when it comes to additives and other food quality control in Europe than in the States. Having the same organisation oversee food and drug administration probably isn't a great idea. Get sick from the food? We've got the cure!

People complain about the cost of cancer tablets or whatever, but the only reason you have it is because a private company invested billions to develop it, that’s why it’s expensive.
