#1 Anyone who's truly an alpha male would never look at anyone for backup. If they start losing an argument they don't look for a buddy they just take it to the next level: physicality. Only a beta like Patrick could concoct such a ridiculous story.

Anyone who has actually been a tough guy (which is just another way of saying violent moron with an anger management issue) knows that even if you're verbally aggressive in the way Patrick fantasizes about, the cops are more than likely going to be called 99 times out of 100.
And if you lay hands on someone you go to jail no matter what. Cops aren't trying to discuss things when there's been a fight. They take everyone involved to jail and let the judge sort it out there in the morning.
