I was thinking the other day about Trump back when he was a Democrat. Imagine an alternative reality where instead of getting Bill Clinton, Trump runs as the Democrat in 1992 and wins against HW. He would not be as hated as he is today despite most of his policy positions not being any different than they would have been in 2016. He would have been pro-abortion, fiscally conservative, anti-gun but not TOO anti-gun, etc.
