Entertainment is so low-effort now. Even back 20 years ago, a piece of shit movie like Adam Sandler's Little Nicky had a decent poster... Guy peeking out of a sewer, flames letting you know he's from Hell, with a witty tagline. It made sense, it built interest in the character because you couldn't see him, and it was relevant to the movie's storyline.
This shit? Bunch of actresses and actors, dressed in character, awkwardly kinda standing there in a white blank void with no background, posing for a camera or making a "heh, we're in a movie, isn't that WILD???" facial expression. "This movie is about women" is all they had, so that's all that shows up in the marketing material. And you just know a staff of women came up with all this, thinking that they were rocking our worlds. This movie poster is what you'd get if you locked a bunch of shit-headed 20-something women in a room and asked them to come up with a movie poster. LOOK! She's HUGGING her friend! Doesn't that make you want to watch this movie? Bland, nothing happenin', no ideas, no gimmicks other than "this movie is about women."
