Where we at with Ray always interrupting the guitar solo because he cant handle the limelight being taken from him? Abe was good enough to give you a little celebrity heat and you have to distract him while he's shredding. Just because Gosia doesn't want you getting panties raining down on the stage doesn't mean everyone else's night has to be ruined. No wonder he dropped you from the tour and took up with Phish.

1. My voice is masculine with the right amount of roughness. And I have rock star hair.

2. I joke about it, but a lot of you Americans really like the guy. I think he sold most of his records over there. The American fan likes him. Ice T LOVES him. And I've seen the Bone Thugs and Harmony remix of one of his songs (not bad, but not my usual music).

3. I can't go in to the ins and outs entirely, but I have close people who know I come here here for my own amusement. That's how my crew found out, and that's why I actually appreciate when you lads doubt me because it covers my ass. But I can't be overt publicly, things are rather conservative over here, and to be serious for a moment: I don't think kiwi farms going down helped things, especially lately.

One little addendum after thinking for a moment: to go along with your jokes, I know I have a nice little rut going over here in this part of the world. But it's MY rut, and it allows me to do what I've dreamed of doing since I was a wee lad, and that's make music for a living. You know, what Joe thinks he does but really doesn't. I don't wish to do anything to ruin that. And yet I still come here, because no one else is going to be blunt enough cunts to each other to get as big of a laugh out of me.
Have you considered typing out more words? Because I think you should type out more words.

1. These are all your delusions, child. Next thing you’re going to tell me is singing falsetto is original. It sounds like faked gruff. If it’s your voice, it’s your voice. To say it doesn’t sound like at least half the shit in your genre than you’re coping.

2. You proved my point in your own statement. No one in America respects Ice T. Do you really think he’s a “musician”? Remixing is the best side of old rap. Whether it was blues or funk, they always improved it. Because they took out the bad parts. Remixing a Phil Collins song doesn’t mean people liked it, it just means they made it better. Although I will concede, he probably did sell the most here. Unfortunately, Americans are probably the biggest marks in the world. We haven’t had to deal with a direct threat of communism, ever. We’ve convinced ourselves we’re not socialists solely because our government doesn’t outright claim it. I still have never met anyone who actually likes Phil Collins. We can both agree (I understand why you wouldn’t, but I’ll do it for you) fucking sucks and most teenagers are more creative and talented than he ever was.

3. I want to call you out for that excuse but, it’s good enough to pass. So well done. Part of it is because I’ll always want to believe, GOD DAMNIT!!!

Edit: Nice using the wrong word, stupid.

How did you get introduced to opie and anthony? How did you find the sub?

While I was in Genesis, one of the roadies was an American that I became friendly with - he had a coarse sense of humor. One day he gives me a Howard Stern cassette because he thought it would be up my alley. He ended up giving me a few more over the course of the tour, and I kept looking for new stuff during the early Napster era. That's how I started to discover other similar shows like Bob and Tom, Don and Mike, etc, but Howard was mostly who I stuck to.

It was the American fan who introduced me to O and A several years ago, and then one day he sent me a link to the subreddit. At the time, my familiarity with Opie and Anthony didn't extend much beyond the show itself, so what was the first thing I see when I enter the sub? You guys talking to Sue Lightning, and it just went on from there. I didn't actually become any kind of poster until you were jettisoned from Reddit, and even then it was a year or so after.

You weren't on the sub? I feel like I remember Rayposting starting there.

How about this: at "your" show in Poland next week, make sure the fourth song you play is Calling All Stations and make sure the full setlist gets posted on setlist.fm.
There's no setlist on setlist.fm.

Anyone know if Calling All Stations was in the four slot at Ray's show in Poland last week?

I tried to work a mention into the liner notes, something subtle, but fellas, I had nothing. Not a fucking thing.

Tried to work in "Linger Longer", couldn't do it without it seeming forced. I can't do a mention like "Thank you to The Farms" because of my agreement with management, and that one's just too overt anyway. The best I could give you fellas was the title of the album and a few vague lyrics that could go either way.

Still, it's something, right?
We just need one youtube vid of Ray Wilson dedicating 'Another Day in Paradise' to our friend Rick in Milwaukee who's down on his luck ...

Yes, 100% correct. Everyone in the office is extremely proud of the time they've spent as part of Genesis but sometimes you just have to be magnanimous and realize that going solo is what's best for all involved. None of us look back on that period with regret.

Don't worry, I'll never tell anyone you're really Anthony Phillips.

There's a very loaded answer in regards to that, but I cannot get into it. A very recent development. Hate to be a tosser, but I have to leave it at that for now.

Drop a "1.7" somewhere in the next liner notes, or thank all the "hooligans" that bought the album

The former, I have no idea how I'd work that into a song.

But the latter, "Hooligans"? We're currently going through some new music behind the scenes, nothing you'll see immediately but... Keep your head on a swivel, lambchops.
