rsk xfm is genuinely some of the absolute funniest pieces of audio I have ever listened to. better than any comedy special I've seenKarl Steve and Ricky did a radio show that's probably funnier than any of their respective tv shows. You can listen to them on youtube
Dwight was way coolerA lot of short bald posters evidently don't identify with being a Jim.

It's not more popular. The rights switch from various streamers and they astroturf it every time it changes hands. With these new streaming companies they only sign old shows for like 1 or 2 years or maybe 5 years. So every couple of years someone else gets the rights to the show and then they promote it like crazy. Every time the rights for The Office change hands they need to mass promote it again. It went from Netflix to NBC a few years ago so they promoted it like crazy. Is it just me or does the show seem to get more popular in the years after it went off the air? I remember it being popular when it was on NBC but it wasn’t like Friends or Seinfeld big.
I saw the episode on Comedy Central where the Hispanic guy comes out as gay. I remember there's a scene where Michael uses the terms retard and retarded. They actually bleeped those words out. Gay fucking shit.Yeah that’s the other one, that was before streaming really took over. NBC was know for owning Thursday night for decades (Cosby, Cheers, Seinfeld, Friends) and ended it with The Office. You’re right about the humor being “problematic” for 2023 and beyond. I’m surprised they haven’t pulled certain episodes from streaming yet.
Personally I just loathe Gervais with every fiber of my being. The US Office had a great run. The criticism of making Michael a loveable oaf instead of a straight up dickhead after a season is fair but that led to amazing episodes like the dinner party, Scott’s Tots (last amazing episode where he fails to deliver his promise of paying for a class of kids’ college if they did well through grade school), and the acting school ones. I believe the UK Office wouldn’t have lasted nearly as long with the same average funniness of the US one. “I only give organs to my real friends.” The Ryan arc going from intern to CEO to intern again was hilarious.I don’t understand why so many die hard fans of the office won’t watch the UK version. They tried to keep Michael Scott similar to David Brent at first but we’re afraid US audiences wouldn’t “get it” because US audiences are stupid. So they made him a big lovable goof and everyone silly.
Does it work?I pretend to like the office so stupid girls like me
No, faggot. We only like three or four shows. But we've watched all of the popular dogshit ones as well. Almost everyone here watched stuff like Game of Thrones or Better Call Saul when they first aired. Almost everyone here was around when South Park was great (first dozen seasons or whatever) before the show turned into a mediocre forgettable mess. The majority of this forum has only watched 3 TV shows.
Fist off, calling me a faggot was over the line! Secondly, I couldn't be bothered...Rant to your hearts content, I support you, and you're SOMEONE! You're loved and you're appreciated! No, faggot. You act like there are more than a handful of shows that can actually be considered true classics. Even Sopranos is no longer truly 'great' when you factor in Many Saints of Newark. What ten or dozen shows are supposed to be all time classics even? Most shows are absolutely worthless. Nothing ends properly like the abortions of the last seasons of Boardwalk Empire or Westworld or the terrible final season of The Wire.
