How did people actually enjoy Better Call Saul?

All it was was 6 seasons of nothing interesting happening and weird fan service. How did people like it so much? Genuinely, I want to know

I’m just breakin balls. I didn’t hate the show but there were plenty of eye roll moments across the entire series that definitely make it seem retarded. Gus fucking stinks in BCS. Didn’t hate Kim like some here seem to. I thought she was one of the stronger actors. I liked the very last scene a lot.

I don’t really keep up on mainstream TV but I compare it favorably to most shit that comes out these days. It’s a low bar, though.

The prison bus scene may have been the gayest shit ever. Lalo with his retarded camcorder. Fucking hour-long mall caper. Ugh

She was good in the earlier seasons but became insufferable towards the end. Her crying on the bus in the final season is some of the worst acting I’ve ever seen.

Gus fucking stinks in BCS

There was no reason for any BB characters to be in that show. They should’ve just let it be it’s own thing instead of including all the Gus/cartel fan service shit, none of which made any sense or led anywhere interesting anyway.

The Jesse and Walt cameos were so fucking awful. 45 year old Aaron Paul trying to play 22 year old Jesse is probably the cringiest thing that’s ever been broadcast. “I’m still a wigger 22 year old, yo! Please ignore all my wrinkles”. Uck!

Saul easily looks mid 50s even in the earlier seasons, which would make him about 70 by the end of Breaking Bad. None of it makes any sense.

He's got enough clout that he won't be reduced to convention circuits like Walt Jr. and Badger, but he's never gonna have a hit as a lead. As soon as he's away from Bryan Cranston, you see how badly he needs him. He just plays versions of himself based on his wardrobe.
