Pat's precisely the kind of boob who would think "they can't do an inspection if nobody's home" and not realize that you're going to pay double and probably a fine on top of that
Yeah, that sounds just like his logic. He will probably think he dodged the inspection until the property tax is due and there are fees applied to it. We can only hope that Dave will now have to make bi-monthly visits until its been fixed/permitted so every visit will be $370 ( i think) going forward. One can only hope his stubbornness will cost him thousands over this.

I think you’re right, Pat skipped town for a reason. Niki also being stupid doesn’t help. She filed for bankruptcy in her 20s for Christ sake. I bet Pat convinced himself it’s a three day weekend since Juneteenth is observed on Monday yet he hasn’t had a job in over a decade.

Sounds like pat skipped town for the weekend so he might have tried to dodge that inspection.
My guess is that if the inspector can’t access what he needs to look at, he goes home (government employee, after all) and the daily fines start because it’s now officially past due. Then the inspector will have to make another trip out at an increased fee to attest he’s in compliance.

If he actually left town because he thought he could buy himself more time then he actually bought himself more problems. At that point, there really is no limit to his stupidity. We’re not talking civil matters, it’s the local government. They’re not letting anybody, especially a non-government employee, steal money from them.

I like that we’ve now made him a pain in the ass for his beloved city of Milwaukee. I bet they will just start to fuck with him (local government can get petty real quick) from dealing with his stupid ass. Be funny he stops wearing brewers gear out of anger towards anything with Milwaukee on it.

Last time he did that was after like three days when Jerry filed court paperwork, Rick would have been served with court papers but went on two week trip to Las Vegas and other shit
If there's an option, Quasi should instruct Jerry to send paperwork and reminders Pat's way as frequently as legally possible.
I wouldn't think he has to be home for the inspection. The inspector could just walk around the back, there's nothing stopping him unless it's a policy or something.
I'd guess so, but ... not 100% sure if the inspector can electronically verify that his permit was in order, in case it was needed?

Be funny if the guy doesn’t even need Pat to answer the door or give him permission to look since the fence can be seen from the driveway behind his house. Pat being a 1.7 explains why he thought leaving town would make his problems go away.

City building inspectors should have the authority to go on anybody's property to check shit that looks wrong, kind of what game wardens do out in bumblefuck they have more authority than state police to go on peoples property

A fitting end times development for Pat posting would be Patrick shooting a city inspector checking his illegal fence, as he believes it’s a stlaker cyber criminal.

Pat would actually try to fight the issue in local court. He would tell them he needs his day in court because “he needs to be heard” since he believes that how those things work.
