Yup. How is he so smug when everyone probably gets a chance to pose like that? He's probably in a spot where he can't possibly fuck anything up if he does actually turn the wheel. The fogies are probably retirees who own the boat and they do this to make gass money and slip fees so their hobby pays for itself. It Could be very nice in the cabins below deck but of course Patrick and the tourists aren't going down there. They probably don't even want them using their toilet unless it's an emergency

Exactly, I owned a boat and a friend of mine would bring out 6-8 people to the canyons and it recouped some costs. It gave my loser fisherman friend pocket money and paid the marina fees. The boat was a money pit and offsetting costs was a help.
