Plus poker has kinda dyed in popularity - it got huge about 25 years ago because the WSOP on ESPN and being in movies. Now you got casinos reducing their poker rooms or just getting rid of them since people aren’t playing in large numbers anymore. I hope Joe is going from casino to casino on the strip getting pissed at the lack of poker options.

Joe's rants are hilarious though, while Kelly's whining is just pathetic and loathsome.
I'd say Hildy's more of a bizarro BroJoe since he's also a complete moron who thinks he's hot shit and decided to try and engage Owen directly, with equally disastrous results.
I would guess they do have them but I don't think I've ever seen one. His TGIF gigs seem to be a local owner who just wanted to help Joe out, after a few gigs realized it isn't worth the effort.
Its funny that they do have buskers running around, but they all seem oddly professional even if they look like bums. They were all serious/ trained artists who dressed their parts and stood up straight like they were taught at Julliard. Paris had mimes and different musicians who pretended to be french street artists, I also remember seeing similar things at other casinos but I can't picture Joe pulling it off in any of them.

There are plenty of gigs around, most musicians who go out there work for free or below minimum wage until they either get professionally promoted or show some insane original talent. No paying gigs out there for a busker you could hear on the street next to a filthy Elmo cosplayer.
There are plenty of 20something musicians around to fill all the TGIF / Fruit stand / Plastic bag conventions in all of Nevada. Why would anyone hire Joey Bagoshit when there are young attractive musicians who can bring friends to their gigs

Then there's the music Joe plays. It's old people music, strictly fifty and up, and even that's pushing it with his repertoire. He has to play geezer rooms, full of graybeards. I could see Joe maybe getting a gig at some Mongols bar out near the quarry or something, but otherwise, no one wants to hear old Allman Brothers standards in Vegas. And if they do, they'll go see a "faithful recreation", not a flabby slob with a stool.

How can he afford to stay anywhere at all? And how on Earth did he sell this latest scheme to his old lady? Is she loaded, retarded, or does she just not care? Three weeks after Christmas, barely a month since his bros weekend in AC, with the price of eggs skyrocketing in the wake of Comrade Biden's regime, and Joe's weathered, crippled-up old bag was cool with him zipping off to Vegas to plow through 3-4K? How can that be?
He could garner a huge audience with Allman Brothers music, Grateful Dead covers and Faces tunes. Kids love that shit now. The problem is that he is not good enough to play it. He's good enough to play phil collins or Johnny cash I guess but he doesn't play that well enough to create a market for his music. Artists have gotten huge in the last 5 years playing Van Morrison tunes, They really do it well and when I ask my kids about the music they are surprised to hear where those songs came from. Joe gave it a shot with his U2/Journey/Hendrix/whatever bands, but they all failed. He's just not good.
