He showed up extremely drunk. He showed up to a memorial attempting to make amends with Bill Burr over shit completely unrelated to Patrice. When asked to leave he wouldn’t and had to be physically removed. Literally what else are you supposed to do when a dude who’s specifically not allowed into an event shows up at the event belligerent and intoxicated?

To me, that would be the response if this were still just about Ants racist tweets or his domestic abuse case. You treat him with some sort of respect because “Hey you know, that guy did give me a platform for like 10 years on O&A. He didn’t do anything to me personally but i don’t agree with who he’s become. But why would Burr treat Anthony with any respect when he tried to dismiss him nicely through a dinner telling him he couldn’t be associated with him professionally, Anthony attacks him, his wife, and his friends, and still expects to be let into this event and make amends. Everyone here keeps basing Patrices thoughts off of what we heard of him from 2007-2012. It’s been 10 years since then. Patrice would’ve had different thoughts and opinions since then. Even if Patrice were to never change from who he was back then, he’d still be fucking disgusted by what Anthony has become because he is a non holds barred racist who doesn’t even think theres one “good one”. Rogan came back from that by making a name for himself with his podcast, to the point where The Comedy Store needed Rogan more than he needed them.

I don't fully understand the situation. Was Norton at the Patrice benefit? I'd assume so. Anthony keeps saying he was with Jim prior to the benefit and doesn't have anything negative to say about him, but I'm guessing he was right there at the table when Anthony tried to talk to Burr. Ant's all pissed off that Keith Robinson was sitting there and didn't defend him, but you know Jim wouldn't pipe up in Ant's defense in front of Bill Burr at his own shindig either.

It was the day after the benefit. Nana went to see jimmy’s show and then to the cellar afterwards where the comedians we’re hanging out He was obnoxiously drunk and Burr just told him to fuck off.
