I’m not fit to be a teacher and don’t pretend to be. The short answer is gnostic teaching is evil bullshit.

I can only describe my life, eventually I prayed without motive, without conditions - and I asked simply for connection and I felt it instantly, and since I’ve been able to study the Bible and understand it (not completely, but it’s like I could suddenly understand how to read it at least, I can’t explain it) and it’s all there.

My family have always had “night terrors” - my parents, grandparents and their grandparents scream and shout in their sleep, and writhe around like they’re in pain. Looking back, it’s unsettling but it was just what they did. I got it all the time too when I hit puberty and you could interact with them as little or as much as you wanted, I just chalked it up as sleep paralysis and that’s what people will tell me it is, but I know they were real and I can deconstruct it all and it always led to the same thing. To be stripped from Christ.

My mom was particularly, weirdly vicious about Christians and their “backwards traditions” - we weren’t a religious family and I never understood why she hated them so much. She’d march for pride parades and stuff, it was strange.

Anyway, long story short - I know people will say I’m mentally ill and it’s genetics etc, but Gary Nolan has explained how some people have biochemistry he can measure that make them “see” these things more than others.

It all makes sense and can be summed up as “angels and demons” and that really upsets and angers people and I don’t know why.

This is a good start to understand the spiritual war we all fight and what to do about it.

I used to have sleep paralysis.
I thought it might be spiritual, but I told my doctor about it anyhow.
He explained that it was a physical issue.
Once I knew that, I only had one more paralysis instance, and it wasn't even bad
