It shows how starved he is to talk to an actual person. His wife hates him, he doesn’t have any friends, his family avoids him, and he goes weekly to a local bar alone only to sit and stare at his phone. For the first time in years somebody ACTUALLY wants to hear about him and it’s why he’s so comfortable spilling everything to someone he’s never met. I’m sure 4 and 5 will be more of Pat telling a complete stranger things his lawyers told him to keep quiet and I’m sure to even admitting to things that could get him in trouble (PPP Loans, SFWA paying the loan under false claims, etc.) since this is the first friend he’s had in decades.
He purposely went to Hooligans knowing he would be getting these calls so he could pretend to be some important person to the uninterested staff and customers around him. It’s the same reason he takes a laptop to a bar in hopes people will see him and think he’s a very special important boy only to sit in silence. He’s definitely known to customers and staff as “ugh, that douchey guy is here again, let’s go somewhere else”

But now I truly believe if he were to have been allowed to continue to believe they were Space and Quasi, and the case gets tossed next week, Pig would have just hunted them down and killed them. Being that deep in the hole financially with no way out would make an already unhinged man homicidal.
So I'm relieved the interviews were released and he now knows they have nothing to do with this.
Those two mens' lives have been saved and they didn't even know how close they came.

I used to be on nikkis side thinking she’s a closet dyke who’s a victim of having to satisfy her family (not Krinsky obviously). Now I truly believer her to be just as bad as Fat Rick for enabling him. If there’s anything these calls are proving, it’s the pig is always at the bar (we already assumed this but this is better proof than any) and she never stops him. At no point does she say “Maybe we should save some money, besides this isn’t good for you.”. She continually allows him to be a failure without a single care in the world for it. She allegedly owns an SEO company yet allows us to damage the searches for not only himself and his friends but his faggot twink lawyer. Where is she on that? Im sure a lot of that is true but I do also think that from pats track record. Pat lies about most of the details and she doesnt even know the truth and extent of what is going on right now. Im sure pat tries to justify it by saying he is protecting her but he lies to everyone about everything. She absolutely enables him but I dont think she understands that everything they own is possibly on the line. Nobody in their right mind would agree to risking their house on some internet trolls that said your book sucks. Im sure Pat is quite the manipulator and has her beaten down enough that she just agrees with him rather than argue with him.
