With the advances in solar and inverter a/c, having a comfortable home is easy. Off-grid is feasible because you can afford labor, much like the plantation model. Outdoor space is much more usable, outdoor hallways and courtyards are the norm.

Granted, its probably more suited for rural or farm folks that are used to nigger-rigging things and getting shit done. But you can do that without the interference you'd get here. And the standard place is a walled-in compound so you can create whatever kind of living area you like.

I like this idea & it's part of my plan.
