I feel like a massive paradigm-shifting/genocidal civil war is looming. The Russians and the Chinese are nothing burgers, but USA was so bad it brought former rivals (look at Turkey and Russia's dynamic...for eg) and enemies together. When you get cut off from the world's resources and much of the Indian Ocean/Pacific trade chokepoints and geo-strategic locales the logical thing that will happen is: You will start to feel too annoyed with your next door neighbor.

It is already happening...2020 election was basically no less scuzzy/corrupt than 2000 Al Gore vs Dubya Bush (Hanging Chads etc). Gore's presidency was stolen...but back then dot com bubble didnt crash, the Malls were packed and Blockbuster, Disneyworld, and other milquetoast endeavors raked in $$$ like flowing water. So people were like who cares? But now everyone is struggling, the pressure point is cooking...the cage is rattling.
