Great little thriller packed into a tight and worthwhile 55 minutes, deconstructing the psychology of the popular true crime miniseries of the week genre. Characters start of one dimensional but are given enough room to grow in the allotted time, story is very simple, if not a little rushed. The biggest missed opportunity, I felt, was the downplaying of the visual aspects, not just the gore, but some of the visual symbolism, such as the mask, and the creeks and what not, which felt like a half measure at the end. Overall, it's barely Black Mirror, but worth a watch. I'll give it a 7 out of 10.

The way the mom danced in the video has really stuck with me for some reason. Really unnerving.

Watched it last night. The ending was a let down. What was his motivation? Nihilism? Spite? Weak. It would've been much better if it was paint and he was trying to make him see things from his pov, like you said. But then the "let him smell fresh air" thing would have to have gone and they'd had to have made a point that the replicas have no sense of smell as well as no need to eat food, otherwise he'd immediately know it wasn't blood.

So we instituted Figure It Out For Yourself Friday so that we could push TV Tuesday to yesterday without being bothered by the new staff about what they're supposed to be doing and get all this done in the space of a workday. Lord knows what we'll be doing on Tuesday now, so long as it begins with a T we'll be OK.

Anyhow here's what we thought:

Joan is Awful is awful. Put your phone down and it's done in 15 minutes, dummy. Or get a new phone and don't install any apps. There are a dozen ways around it. Tomlinson level stupid.

Loch Henry absolutely rules. You kinda see the twist coming at the end but it's done really well and is sinister as fuck.

Beyond the sea could have been done in half the time. It wasn't too bad but it's rough going sometimes, kinda like being in space. Kate Mara would still get it and Aaron Paul needs to not cry in everything.

Edit - So how about send the robots to space, leave the real people at home, save yourself an hour?

Mazey Day is just an absolute mess. There's a monster in all of us maaaaan

Demon79 is too campy to be in any way psychologically horrifying. It feels like an old timey British comedy. Carry on Blood Sacrificing.

The fourth episode STUNK! They could have gone with so many better angles if they wanted to do a story about the paparazzi, hell do something with that gay actor killing himself because you outed him for $600.

Also does every story have to be in the past? That one took place in 2006 only so they could have one scene where the protag listens to an Amerie song on her ipod nano. Set that shit in 2040 and show me how the paparazzi has evolved.

1, Couldn't make it more than 10mins.

2, The best episode, but it's basic horror...Has a strong female POC lead.

3, The technology doesn't add up, but ok, I'll go with it, I mean this is black mirror after all....Why wouldn't the clones be sent into space? "You just killed my wife and daughter but ok, I'll just take a seat and finish the mission with you". Wtf?

4, Strong female POC lead, fucking werewolves.

5, Strong female POC lead, All white men are evil, child molesting wife beating perverts, and of course....Nazis.

This isn't a season of Black Mirror...It's a new season of "Two sentence horror stories" which is also a Netflix show.

Despite Netflix tanking they keep pumping out anti-white porn. When the fuck is this shit going to stop?
