Are there any current series worth watching?

Only active show I watch that I would rate as 'good' would be Better Call Saul. Literally everything else is beyond mediocre trash. Only recent show I watched that I liked was El Chapo no Netflix (in Spanish). I tried to watch Narcos and Narcos Mexico but they were hollywood garbage that were like 'woke' versions of the real drug trade.

I watched El Chapo and Narcos and Narcos:Mexico and enjoyed all 3.

Some things that weren't mentioned but are decent:

Billions(Showtime. Disclosure I haven't watched the latest season yet)
ZeroZeroZero (Amazon)
Gomorrah (I think it's on HBO now. I watched it on Netflix or Amazon originally. The series, not the movie)
The Jack Ryan series on Amazon isn't bad
I enjoyed the first few seasons of Ray Donovan (Showtime) but lost interest

Is it true that Patrick largely copied one of his novels from the expanse? I remember some tweet about that
I think it was something he wrote for a WSJ-type publication. It was supposed to be some sort of futuristic sci-fi opinion piece. Some enterprising brothermen pointed out that he basically lifted the entire premise from The Expanse.

I actually quite enjoyed Bosch on Prime. It's quite low key and unflashy and at first it just seems like another police procedural. Sure it's not in the league of The Shield or even The Wire but it's actually a really solid show.

A few of its strengths are -
1) Titus Welliver as Bosch. He's a great character actor but carries the show as the lead.
2) Jamie Hector as his partner. Was great as Marlo in The Wire and completely convinces as a homicide detective. Lance Reddick (Daniels in The Wire) is also in it as their captain and later chief of police. Quite a few actors from The Wire (the creator wrote for it) and Deadwood (a show Welliver was on) show up in guest roles.
3) The writing and plots are pretty old school and un-woke, and everyone smokes and drinks in it, especially the cops.
4) It's set and filmed in LA and that shithole hasn't looked as good in a TV show or movie since Heat. The cinematography is pretty great.

Don't expect to watch a groundbreaking show but it is good and entertaining.
Seconded. Bosch is great if you like that LA detective noir type stuff.
