I think it’s something along these lines, very exaggerated and the law / hotel wasn’t involved (that would cause attention) and the SFWA will use this as a reason to cry victim since they all love the attention. It’s like Pat’s long debunked “SWATing” claim. The police came to his door over a call (wellness check) and left.
