It's hard to grasp as a guy how a throwaway comment like that will haunt a female deeply for years. When I was about 12 or 13, I told my sister she had fat ankles (she doesn't, I was just being a cunt and wanted to upset her.) She literally didn't wear a skirt or dress for the next several years. I of course forgot I'd said it about 20 minutes later.

Almost a decade later, at a relative's wedding, I told her the dress she had on looked nice. "Oh, really? You don't think my ankles are too fat?" was her reply. She went on to rehash something that I'd said in the moment as an arsehole teenager as if it was the closing minutes of the Yalta conference. And she's not some Betsy Resto like fat flake, she's slim with a seemingly together life.

They're all crazy and @Chaquille and @Class don't realise how much they've ruined her year.

I went to school with this chick named Brianna. I noticed that she was starting to get a bit of a unibrow. This is like junior year of high school. She was otherwise pretty cute but that brow was distracting. So one day I subtly called her "Bri-una" in conversation. It was quick, but she noticed it. Next day she came to school with perfect brows.

We never talked about it at the time, but one night in a bar about 5 years ago, she told me (unprompted) that it really fucked her up for a long time. Her husband told me privately that she's obsessive about her eyebrows to this day.

I had a similar incident that I don’t want to type out because I come off as such a fucking prick that it’s unbelievable. I doubt she was scarred for life because she grew up very successful but I’ll just say I was about the same age as you and the problem was rectified immediately. We were in the process of breaking up and she was way more attractive than me. We lightly hooked up a couple times after that even though her parents told her to stay away from me. I don’t know why but I’m really good at being mean. She was so nice and I still feel bad about it to this day.

This one girl was having a bunch of wiggers and juggalos threaten me after we broke up. I knew they wouldn't do shit so I ripped into her about everything I knew would bother her. Her sister told me that she wept over it. I still felt kinda bad, even though those faggots were threatening me.
