He doesn't feel anything for other people. He doesn't care that he is causing them severe financial pain. This is The Pat Show and everyone else is just along for the ride.

You can tell the judgement is weighing on him as Quasi comes to collect. Whenever he comes up with bad ass lines like "...and that bill is coming due." it's him putting salve on his wound.

There's no way Nikkki knows the full extent and repercussions of what he (and therefore she) is doing, right? They could seriously go to jail or lose their house. It's fucking crazy that they just keep putting their fingers in their ears and blowing raspberries. Her mom and siblings sure as shit must not know otherwise they'd be on her to act like an adult.

I wonder if that guy really billed the SFWA 5k or if this was some petty attempt to try and claw back 5k of the money they blew on the lolsuit. It didn't seem like he did a lot of work for that 5k.

Regardless, throw another $5000 of SFWA dues down the drain. What a colossal waste of money and resources.

At what point does he become persona non grata with the SFWA? He continues to be a complete burden on the entire organization. What are they getting from him that's worth all the money, hassle, and aggravation?

They may still support him because they are emotionally and developmentally stunted retards themselves. This poor guy, so what if he blew $100,000+ of our money. Nazis are being mean to him online!

I still think it's self-preservation. They paid for the lawsuit, and it's worth $5,000 to keep Jerry away from the documents he wanted.

People say Patrick will be forced to tell the truth under oath... he won't. He never will. He doesn't have to, because he says so. He'll simply tell the exact same lies he has always told, and maybe someone will catch him and send his ass to county. While he shrieks "THAT IS NOT WHAT OCCURRED! THAT IS NOT WHAT OCCURRED!" as he's lead away from the courtroom.
