Cowboys just drafted the son of one of their scouts. That's going to be awkward when they cut him in September
DMCA, complaints, and other inquiries:
A combo of JaMarcus Russell and Sam Bradford is why there is a rookie salary cap.JaMarcus Russel was a big fat guy with a strong arm.
He played in the SEC when it was dominated by run-heavy offenses and he never had the chance to prove how bad he was.
He was also at least a quarter retarded. Whoever decided to draft him should be shot against a brick wall.
Edit: there's a great story one of his Raider teammates told on a podcast where the QB coach gave Russell a disk to take home, that he said contained a bunch of plays he wanted him to watch over the weekend and then tell them the next week which ones he liked. Only the tape was blank. Russell came in on Monday and was like, "Yeah coach, I like all these plays. They all look good."
He was legendarily stupid.
Lol. Did you actually watch him play? Without Young, that was a 4 or 5 loss Bama team- he had them two plays away from being undefeated and playing for the SEC championship and in the CFP. I'm not sure why, but Alabama has struggled developing the WR position the past couple of years (Jameson Williams was an Ohio State transfer and already polished) and even though they signed top running back recruits, they just haven't produced like Bama backs from a couple of years ago. Young was their entire offense. If Young were 6'2, he would be labeled a generational prospect/can't miss. Meanwhile, Richardson is a literal crapshoot. He needs to sit and learn, but it looks like the Colts are going to start him from the get-go. I don't see it working out.I'll bet 100 ribs @ 5-1 that Anthony Richardson will have the more successful rookie campaign over Stroud and Young with any nigga here
Yeah, there's no way Colts can keep Richardson on the bench and not give the appearance that they're not tanking. A year off and focusing on the QB room would probably be huge for himMeanwhile, Richardson is a literal crapshoot. That's a fair take.Yeah, there's no way Colts can keep Richardson on the bench and not give the appearance that they're not tanking. A year off and focusing on the QB room would probably be huge for him
Still don't hate the prospect tho

Russell ($40 million in career earnings) and Bradford ($130 million in career earnings) made over $20 million combined more for their careers than Montana, Aikman, and Elway. The owners needed to be saved from themselves.
Oh...You were finished?? Well allow me to retort...Yeah... There has been a dropoff in production from Bama WRs, but remember they had a ridiculous string of consecutive first round picks in Cooper, Ridley, Jeudy, Ruggs, Waddle, Smith, Jameson, and Metchie. That's an unprecedented run of talent. There was bound to be a dropoff.
Regarding RBs, their roster has never been deeper. They've made a commitment to rotating 2-3 at a time guys to prevent wear and tear, but also to ensure guys get carries and don't leave. So you're not going to see a Bama RB win the Heisman again for a while because they don't get enough carries. As a Bama fan, their consistency recruiting RBs is one of the only things I'm not worried about going forward.
And that speaks to the big problem Saban's now facing that is taking some time to figure out - the portal. He's losing 4-5 star recruits who don't want to wait behind older players. The last 3 recruiting classes for example, they had at least three if not four high-4 star WRs come in each year, and by the next year half of them were gone. I look at the roster now and their sophomore class could turn out to be really good with Law, Prentice, and Bond, but there's no telling if they'll stick around.
With the new OC from Notre Dame, I think Saban is returning to the smash mouth approach of his '08-15 teams and will rely less on passing anyway. With so many teams now built to defend RPOs and air aid offenses, it might be time to go old school again and start pushing people around.
I'm a huge ND fan. Good look with Rees and Buchner. Lol. Rees' biggest issue is that sometimes he tries to prove that he's the smartest guy in the room and he will call atleast 10 head scratching play calls a game. He's also not particularly good at in-game adjustments. You should watch the 2nd half ND vs Navy (2022). One of the worst halves of play calling I have ever seen.Yeah... Kinda related to da thread. I have money on some basketball teams cos i got a free bet on the NBA. So i have watched a couple of the games to see how my picks were doing and ho lee shit! American sports is fucking gay.
There are ad breaks for popeyes every 2 minutes and at one point during the commentary break Chris Tucker came in studio and started doing Michael Jackson dance moves which spurred Shaq, Charles Barkley and some other faggot to start doing it.
Get rid of the ad breaks and just put sponsors on the players kits ffs. Fucking unwatchable, over half of the 3 hours i was sat there was spent watching niggers sink their comically oversized lips into popeyes chicken sandwiches.
Kiper should grade this on a curve. It's said to be the weakest class since 2013. If you picked 3 guys in Mel's top 40 it doesn't matter since they'll probably be shit. Just give everyone a C and move on.Here are Kiper's draft grades for all the fags (myself included) who follow this shit:
