I’m partial to the “are you a Mormon” drop too. Will Arnett was a good guest and the really loud black comic with three names too.
haha yeah. The best was when the caller would respond, "uh, no. I'm not Mormon". I loved the "you're fat" drop because some caller would say something like "I've really struggled with my weight--" "you're FAT" "Drew, please..."

David Allen Grier was the comic. On paper it wouldn't sound like him and Adam would work together but they had great chemistry and DAG would make Adam laugh more than almost any other guest. Good times.

The drops were so funny and especially they’d answer the Mormon question a few times in a row. DAG was such a great guest but they’re not friendly anymore. Looks like he went on Adam’s podcast a very long time ago but they’ve soured on each other.

That’s extremely shocking for a liberal to do.
Not to defend DAG or anything (I don't really know anything about him anyway) but Adam has been insufferable for about a decade now. He's been huffing his own farts and fancying himself as a political pundit. It's a shame because back in the day, he was one of the funniest people out there. I tried listening to his podcast back in like 2010 or whenever it was on with Allison Rosen and bailed pretty quickly because it was the same old rants about how he pulled himself up by his bootstraps over and over.

I don’t know anything about Adam beyond Crank Yankers, Man Show, Stern, and Loveline. I’ve never even been aware of DAG besides Loveline.

He was my favorite dude probably for awhile there. Found Loveline in 7th or 8th grade and listened til he retired. Funniest shit ever. Then yeah, followed him to morning radio which I don't remember much of but it led me to OnA since they were on right after. Then his podcast started and it was my first 'cast. Bailed not long into it cuz yeah it got boring, morning zoo format sucked, etc, etc.

I know a Jimmy Kimmel fanboy when I see one. Ugh, gross.
