My general thoughts on this is that deregulation will indeed help the economy boom for the next couple years but then it’s gonna crash real bad. It’s still far too unstable to start all the scams. The Biden administration had the right of it by taking it slow. Of course, the slavering masses want everything now now now.
The deregulation is the long term fix because it needs to happen across federal, state, and local which will take forever and then capacity needs to be right sized to produce the products. The faster fix is interest rates. Much faster.

The only reason we weren’t in a recession under Biden was because massive government spending kept us positive. Private sector trimmed back a lot during that time. I’m anticipating a no shit recession now that the federal government is getting trimmed. I personally think some pain is a healthy thing just because I don’t think it’s reasonable to expect the economy to always grow.

The tariff to watch is the China one. 10% is a warning shot to meet up and balance things a bit because they both need to avoid a trade war. Trump doesn’t really bash Xi all that much while he never stops dunking on Trudeau directly to his face. Actually, Xi goes at Trudeau right to his face too. Seems like no one respects Trudeau because Canada isn’t shit, actually.
