For a few months in 2014-2015, I was temporarily watching WWE again for the goof.

It was mind-numbing how fucking retarded it was. Every 5 minutes you saw something that made zero sense, or a monumental fuckup/miscalculation.

I can only imagine how fucked up and terrible it is now, considering the most boring, worst part of the show back then (Roman Reigns) is currently their leading man and main character.

I was still a teenager during John Cena's big rise in the 2000s... Hated his lazy ass with a passion. But I would sooner rewatch John Cena win fake fights against the entire world than to spend 5 seconds watching a Roman Reigns clip. He is entertainment cancer who also has cancer irl.

Watch some old ECW. The crowd alone is worth it.

I only watch once a year at Wrestlemania, and I usually fast forward. If I'm not wrong, then this is the fucking 3rd time they've main evented Lesnar V. Reigns. Also, the camera work is fucking terrible now. You can't tell what's even going on.

I wonder if Vince is just waiting for NBC to buy him out, and he's just running out the clock. There's no way the people running WWE actually care about the end product.

ECW is the only wrestling I can tolerate. I have the restored uncensored version of every episode with the original music in upscale HD.

Even as a child ECW was the only wrestling that made sense to me. All the fight sequences were clever, realistic (and legitimately brutal)
They had smoking hot women lezzing out. The best underground music of the 1990s. Mean-spirited inside jokes that only nerds would catch.
It was like the movie Fight Club come to life.

I will continue to defend Justin Credible's main event run: It was a meta reference to the Klique / montreal screwjob.
ECW is the Sopranos of white trash fake fighting, I actually do a re-watch every now and then.

I tend to agree with this theory. He's waiting for an offer (just like he did with WWE Network) so he can go back to XFL 3.0. I think The Rock bought it to hold as a placeholder until Vince is freed up.

Vince has been absolutely smashing it with bare minimum effort. He has been rehashing stories and characters for over 15 years now.

Even in the face of strong competition who came out of nowhere (and the typical ankle biting indies) he is still far and away the worldwide leader.
