The singers singing style really sounds like Springsteen and a bit like Dire Straits. It’s not bad but i’m not really feeling it. Maybe i need to listen more to really get it. What is a good starting point?

Lost in the Dream in my opinion. I also feel like they are a band you listen to once and are like "that was alright" but it sticks with you and you listen to it again and appreciate it even more.

I’d say Lost in the Dream and then A Deeper Understanding. Kurt Vile played guitar on their earlier stuff so it had a bit of a different feel.
