That game was fucking awesome. It's one of the only games I ever played on PC. I didn't get very far because I don't do well with games like that. I'm not easily scared in real life but video games like that scare the shit out of me if I'm playing them alone and my heart gets pumping so fast I feel like I'm going to die. Condemned 2 got me like that too.

The only games I refuse to play are those ones where you have to hide in lockers or have a ton of jump scares. Even Aliens: Isolation, which I'd be into for the story, would frighten the fuck out of me.

You do a lot of hiding and running away in the Cthulu game. It's also hard as fuck because there's no HUD so you have to count bullets and if you get hurt, you limp around or can't aim, and the more fucked up shit you see, your character starts going insane and hallucinating. It's just nonstop scary. You also only use the gun as a last resort. Generally you're just trying to get away.

Yeah but unlike Dark Souls you can't create your character and leveling up consists of earning Skill points and using them for abilities. Recently replayed it and it's as good as Bloodborne in my opinion. Once the combat clicks and you get the rhythm down it really shines.

Mafia - Definitive Edition is now $13.99. Very enjoyable. Looks good at 1080p, great at 1440p. I'm gonna give Hellish Quart (sword fighting game) a try. Only $11.89 now.
