One thing that sucks about being a parent is you might go into it not wanting your kid to watch TV, but if both parents have shit to do, you sometimes don't have much choice but to leave it on for them. There's these free networks that play non-pozzed cartoons (almost always from outside of the US) that teach kids about counting and manners, but then that faggot jew shit-fetishist Blippi is somehow included in the lineup. Ideally I'd never have the damn thing on, but for now I just taught my kid to boo whenever certain people or things come on before I change the channel.

They designed a financial system that essentially makes parents have to work and let others raise them. Whether the others raising them are the TV or other people, the same mission is accomplished.

With tablets/iPads, they're going to really ratchet it up. Current kids under 14 don't really stand much of a chance.
