Is it just me or does there seem to be an increase in teams to not give a shit about this season? Just took a glance at this morning's slate of games and there's a lot of mediocrity. The NFC seems particularly insignificant this year.

The AFC is stacked this year. North, West and East teams have all loaded up for a big run. It's been one of the craziest off seasons in recent memory and talent/strength-wise it's left the league a bit lopsided. But then there's always a team like the Bengals last year who makes a run. Saints and Giants might be sneaky good teams

I don't even like the Ravens but I want Lamar to succeed. The whole "he's a running back not a quarterback" thing is stupid. He's got flaws in the passing game, but he's still well above average.

he'll be gone unless he has some Peyton Manning level MVP season. They haven't picked up his 5th rookie year and the QB draft class is going to be a hell of a lot better this year. Daboll will be good for them but he has a bunch of limbs without a torso 'til they get rid of him.

I see a year starting for some other scrub franchise in his near future, like the Lions or Falcons. Then a career backup after that.
