The one night I stayed there was a Monday night and everything was closed so I didnt really experience it.
My friend was just there with his chick though and he said if you go out and daydrink early, the places arent overly packed yet and its a lot of fun.
You have to embrace the corny cowboy dressup thing though and not be a curmudgeon

No but I'm actually gonna be flying in and out of Charlotte. I'm gonna just shut my phone off and take a couple days to cruise around somewhere different, then party on the weekend. Thinking which direction to go.

Where is Nana? Greenville? Maybe take a dump on his porch.

I'm in this general area of the country and I can tell you that Charlotte is largely boring, and even the fun places are overcrowded with annoying young people and it's very cliq-ey.

If you're looking to get laid and have some fun, Myrtle is best, probably. Dirty white trash girls who drink too much and don't care if you don't make a lot of money because they can't tell anyway. Charleston is nice, and expensive, and there's stuff to do, but a bit more like Charlotte in terms of the cliques. If you continue down the coast to Savannah, Tybee Island is great. I don't know how old you are, but if you are 30s+, Tybee has that older crowd and it's very hippie, slow, chill vibe.
