When I was in college our coach banned them from team use because two guys on our team started getting "panic attacks" during heavy practice. But they were chugging these things two or three times a day. And once the drinks were available in bars pretty much every mixed drink had alcohol and energy drink in it. And this was only within a few years of them being legal to sell.
The founder of Red Bull was some chink spy who has no background information that can be confirmed. No family history or formal education he just shows up out of nowhere as a billionaire peddling these toxic 'drinks'. He started buying politicians in Europe and California to mass market the drinks and make them legal. As these energy drinks were illegal to sell in the US up until the late 90s. Then within ten years pretty much Red Bull and Monster are the ONLY sponsors for practically every single sporting event in the entire country. Baseball, UFC, monster trucks, NASCAR, bowling, skateboarding. All branded top to bottom with energy drinks marketed to children.
Cool, thanks for keeping it brief.
