I saw a video of them at a foreign stadium gig and Mustaine was complaining to the crowd about paying income tax in the US. Some cool songs but he's such an insufferable faggot he really deserves to be back in Metallica.

Yeah it was at the revolver golden god awards back in 2010. He was there to present some award for most metal athlete (Mike piazza was nominated, etc) and before they were ready to film Dave was on stage and I yelled something like “bring back Marty Friedman!” and he looked over to me and said into the mic “I think you should shut up” and people cheered.

The award went to 3 Dallas cowboy players so multiple people yelled “Romo’s a Homo” which made Dave Mustaine smile.

There's a great story from the Some Kind of Monster commentary by resident drummer/Short Stack Lars Ulrich.

After the scene in the therapist office where Dave opens up about how hurt her was being kicked out of the band, Lars shared a story about being in a car with Dave after the session. Now, it's well known Dave has a chip on his shoulder about Megadeth always being a tier before Metallica in popularity and appreciation, hence his soul baring in therapy...

Lars proceeds to tell James, Rob and Kirk how he turned on the radio in the car, and the station was playing a Metallica song. Feeling awkward, Lars changed the station - which was also playing a Metallica song. So he switches to another station... Which, if I remember correctly, was playing "Enter the Sandman". Needless to say the band was laughing at the whole situation.
