If you are a complete piece of shit off air and even get caught publicly, but somehow keep your ratings up, you will be fine in the long run. Same with professional sports. An MVP level player can get away with way more crime off field than a rookie who sits on the bench. A rookie with a DWI is done. An MVP with a bunch of rapes and gang tattoos will be safe as long as the team gets into the playoffs.
