I remember when Halo 2 was coming out I was pumped about GTA San Andreas which was releasing right around the same time. My buddy called it GT Gay and I called Halo Gay Lo and we hated each other since.

But who won in the end? GTA 6... 2 billion views on YouTube! Halo 6? Is that what they're up to? Either way, never heard of her.

Sony will do anything to pad that meager PS5 library. Is Halo still relevant?

No, it died with Halo 3 ODST, I think. Or Reach. One of the later 360 ones. Halo 5 was dogshit. It's now a zoomer nostalgia franchise, for all the college-aged kids who played Halo 3 as a child.

So I guess this really drives home how dead Xbox is. Cool. They should allow people to install Steam on it.

Skyrim, like Oblivion before it, dumbed down the mechanics of the franchise and further made the game into a boring courier game with repetitive quests. I think 6 is going to suck like FO4 did compared to previous titles. I'll still play it but I'm not holding out any hope for it to be worthwhile.

Looking back FO4 wasn't that bad. The whole "another settlement needs your help" thing was tedious but I had way more fun playing it than Fallout 76 which I maybe played for 45 minutes tops.

Maybe I'm just starved for that type of RPG, I bought the Outer Banks when it first came out and that sorta scratched the itch. I didn't even mind the repetitive quests because there were enough locations to keep it interesting.

I really disliked the leveling system and how they made perks and points seem way more general. I liked autistically min maxing my stats dammit!
