The Fame Monster has Alejandro and So Happy I Could Die, both of which are great.

Imo best songs on Born This Way are Highway Unicorn and Americano.

Like, okay, Metallica's peak is 1991 because they didn't lose their essence, but their next peak is 1989 when Hetfield was a beast, not the late 90s when everyone knew them but they were no longer "them". Gaga is more unique and established by Born This Way, I think.

I know it sounds Ronnie Bish to say I don't like anyone's number one hit, but again with the Metallica comparison: I love Enter Sandman, but I can't love it the most. Even from that album, I like Sad But True more. I just can't get into Nothing Else Matters, either.
