My dad has a bunch of pictures of this badass black and silver fox that used to come chill behind his firehouse while they were out smoking. It never let anyone touch it or anything but it would come right up to people and sit with them.

On the golf course in my town there always used to be a fox and kits in the one sand trap in the summer. The kits would come right up to people and the mom would just watch. They were super chilled out.

A couple summers ago some sick fox came and brushed up against my leg in my driveway. I was having a smoke late one night and I thought it was a cat because it was so little and it's tail wasn't bushy. I saw it coming from way down the road and stopped paying attention to it and then when it got right up to me I noticed it was a fox. I said "hey" and it ran away. I don't know if it had rabies or mange or what. After I saw it that night, the neighbors all started seeing it just laying by the side of the road in the middle of the day and I think my one neighbor shot it and buried it which was probably the best thing for it.
