They are mostly self diagnosed autistic. Autism is underdiagnosed in females and presents differently so you basically can just be a normal person and decide you have it
They print out you might be autistic quizzes and put them in a binder to present to their doctor. And then they get told no and they're like but the fact that I put this all together proves I have it! Autism is my special interest!
