I'm a lil bit confused because certain news orgs have changed the way they measure/display temperature to promote the climate change agenda, some have been caught on hidden camera admitting that the covid thing is 'getting fatigued' so they're moving-on to a new alarmism... on the other hand some of my buddies say they're hot (science!!!)
USA doen't seem to have the same threat (yet), but in Europe they're already aspousing climate lockdowns, & have already started creating '15 minute cities'; where you're not allowed to travel outside designated zones - with checkpoints, etc. It's getting real ova here!

In the UK we had a really warm June but a cool July as the heatwave has hit the south of Europe so we get the cool air to the north. I much prefer cool weather. Anything above 24c is just needless. Last summer it got to 40c and in homes built to keep warmth and no a/c it's hell
Do british people just not understand how insulation works? I've seen you guys spout this shit constantly on the internet but if they retain heat well then they retain cool air well too, they also keep the opposite out.

This summers been excruciatingly hot. Reminds me of that heat wave we had in the 80's. I just hope next summer isnt as bad. Its so hard to work outside right now, especially if you're not under shade. I feel like maybe the next few summers won't be so hot now, since we burned up so much this summer. I hope thats what happens because if the power grid goes down during this shit most of us are dead

Open up some windows, use fans, get some air moving if it's cooler outside than in.
Sir we aren't idiots. Homes are built different in different locations around the world to best suit their climates. On the hottest days it will still be 24 degrees at night and by 9am the sun has been warming up for 4 hours already. It just doesn't get cool on the hot days. Luckily they only last a week or so at most. We don't have to rebuild housing stock or invest in sir con for that small a time but when it does get hot it's really awful. It's also humid what with us being an island and people from hotter countries say our summer heat is worse than what they are used to.

Shit, I keep my AC at 26C.

You should definitely open your windows if it's that cool at night (your houses designed to retain heat will retain that cooler air once you close it back up).
