WWAWD Blowout? PFG if you ask meDe Palma made movies way better than that heap of shit yet it's the only one niggers watch.
Aren't all of De Palma's films quite over-the-top and camp though? At least the ones I've seen. Carrie, Dressed to Kill, Blow Out, Scarface, The Untouchables, Casualties of War, Raising Cain, Carlito's Way, Mission Impossible. He definitely has his own style but his movies are certainly theatrical. It's very hammy and campy, which I assume was the director's intent. Sometimes it comes across as fun and intense, but other scenes are almost laughably stupid, like that nonsense with his retarded sister.
Scarface roleplay by your parents is how you were conceived. How we should feel about that... who knows.Carlitos way is just as stupid as scarface
Both are great movies tho
Great fucking movie. Dressed to Kill is also great even though you can see the twist coming a mile away. (Also makes trannies seethe)WWAWD Blowout? PFG if you ask me
Blowout is a very serious and dark movie. Scarface is a parody like Starship Troopers but people do not realize it. Both are good films if not great films. But people who take Scarface seriously are total fags. I remember the first time I watched Scarface laughing at how ridiculous and over the top it was.WWAWD Blowout? PFG if you ask me
Probably in the top 200 movies of all time
recently watched Q&A with nick nolte, based on a book by the same author who wrote the ones Carlito's Way was based on. Pretty good movie. Lots of racism and nolte grabs some tranny by his crank to get information from him at one point. Armand Assante portrays a spic unconvincinglyInferior to Carlitos Way in every....way
Raising Cain was over the top in a way that worked/was genuinely creepy. I watched casualties of war when I was younger and it legit upset me, but now I watch it and i'm just distracted by how terrible michael j fox acting is. Also wonder why he didn't just shoot those faggots and say the VC did it. apparently nobody really gave a shit.Aren't all of De Palma's films quite over-the-top and camp though? Raising Cain is extra unsettling after Josiah Part 5. Fat turned into one of Lithgow's personalities.Raising Cain was over the top in a way that worked/was genuinely creepy. I preferred the 1932 Scarface, on account of him actually having a scar on his face, cool characters, grittiness & Tommy-gun shootouts.
Where the fuck is my Tommy-gun?? FUCK!!
That's retired judge Edwin Torres. Shocked to see he's still alive at 93. Don't know about his ability on the bench, but the book Q&A was pretty good.recently watched Q&A with nick nolte, based on a book by the same author who wrote the ones Carlito's Way was based on.
