Sometimes I feel guilty that Im not in on whatever joy they seem to give people.
I guess its that I never had one as a kid. Or that I receive plenty of attention and love from people so I dont really have a void that needs to be filled.
I always got the impression that dog people were always sort of damaged and the fact a dog can never personally screw you over is extra valuable to them.
It seems really wholesome and a part of the human experience that Id like to have someday. Maybe when Im older.

Im so gay, its actually insane

Never had a dog. My grandparents did when I was about 6 one was the mother of the other and it was a bit bitey/defensive over it so I was never a huge fan. No other dogs in our family whatsoever although friends did have them and I liked them it they were never mine.

More of a cat guy. Winning their respect and trust is an achievement compared to dogs. You know they really like you when they show it.

I thought that until I got a fucking crow to trust me. The little nigga makes noises specifically to me and eats from my hand without being jumpy at all.

I love the stupid thing.

I've only had cats (& rescue birds), I kinda respect their independence; they're not pack animals & can survive on their own... so they're only with you by choice.

I had quite a few cats at my last place (actually not my place, but long irrelevant story), started with a couple of strays... I wanna get a video of the one remaining offspring - he's at my buddy's house now but always comes upto me, you can tell he remembers me like family.

I actually disagree, even though I'm not a 'dog guy' they're pretty intuitive at sniffing-out real bad people
I was at a red light and the car next to me had a dog in the back seat staring at me from the window. My window was down so I just looked over and said "hey buddy" and he did one of those howl talking voices and I said "I feel you." And he made the same noise again but shorter. The older lady in the front passenger seat looked back and the dog and then looked at me and then looked back at the dog and said "you making friends?" and the way it barked at her made me laugh. Like he straight up knew what we were all saying.

It was some husky mix. Looked like a big goofball.

Dog people are definitely damaged. How else can you neuter an animal (for its own good), keep it locked up inside (for its own good) and drag it around by a leash (for its own good), and also claim you love it? Fucking weirdo possessive types.

The only ones that seem reasonably healthy are the ones that keep dogs that also do jobs, like farm dogs or service dogs and treat them with healthy respect.

Yeah what's the deal with neutering them? That's so fucked up. That Bob faggot was always like "make sure you spray your neuter your pets!" so casually at the end of every episode of that kike show. Evil.

It's that or dog and cat holocausts at your local shelter. Take your pick.

I've fostered something like 75 working dogs, this is one trait they all seemed to share. I live in Denver which is full of drugged out zombies wandering around everywhere so they get plenty of practice judging people when I walk them.
