Every time I pick up an iPhone I end up handing it back immediately. Nice UI that requires a fucking raindance to accomplish anything

I had an iPhone which was cool, but I only ever used all of the features at home on wifi.
I now have a flip phone (w/ Bluetooth!) and pay $199 a year for service. One bill per year. No dumb touchscreen and I feel like I'm holding an actual phone and not some flat brick when I talk.

Then I buy it and use it till the battery explodes.
Also, fuck any plan. I just get a 30 buck pre-paid that expires every 3 months, and then get back in the saddle.

Speaking of batteries, my flip phone came with the battery in a package uninstalled so you know it can be replaced. iPhone and Samsung (and most Android) shit are cunts with battery replacement.

In 2007 they had a shittier network than Verizon, but people HAD to use them because they had an exclusive on the iPhone. But in 2023? I don't get it.

Battery life shouldn't be an issue with any modern processor, I charge my phone about once every 2.5 days

The original Droids had replaceable batteries so I just had like 3 of them because the battery life was not great. It’s probably awful compared to phones now but that phone ruled when I had it. I had an emulator and I’d sit in the back and play Gameboy games in physics. Ironically I failed almost every physics class I took in college.
