Sloppy and contrived.

The big one is Lalo. He escapes Mexico while being presumed dead, goes to what, Germany? Finds dude's widow, happens to figure out the gift, kills a guy, comes back to the US, has a car, a gun with a silencer and bullets, a camcorder, work clothes and is sneaking around place to place while being a few-ji-tive and then kills Howard for no reason because killing random people certainly makes everything easier.

Lalo is going to have Kimmy and Jimmy do something for him and they will, under duress, while Kim believes they're being watched so everything will be OK, but that's not true since Mike had all low profile targets pulled away. Who cares. The story will be that Howard came over to their place and killed himself, even though most people who commit suicide by gun do so through the mouth. But Howard was so distraught over being embarrassed that he killed himself.

Prediction: Next episode opens in present day Cinnabon. Saul is still trying to get in touch with someone. We get a montage of the past. But the show will not start with Lalo. We'll get Gus and Mike waiting and losing patience and maybe fighting a bit. Perhaps a montage of old people receiving their checks from the lawsuit settlement. They'll do anything but move the actual plot forward for at least an episode or two.

Frustrating show that's really far up its own ass.

Also Howard's death is full of shit writing and amazing coincidences:

- Jimmy and Kim are in their apartment together and not out celebrating like they usually do in a hotel or some other place
- Howard instead of going to police or hiring a real PR firm with extra security goes alone to their apartment without telling anyone
- Howard shows up at their apartment without warning not even knowing if they will be there or not
- Gus just happens to pull his entire detail off of 'minor targets' like Saul giving Lalo the ability to roam freely around
- Saul is now a 'minor' target for Lalo despite the fact that the last time Lalo jumped bail he immediately visited Jimmy at his home
- Lalo just happens to show up on the exact day at the exact time that Howard does during that two minute stretch of conversation
- If Howard leaves the apartment 30 seconds before he lives, or Lalo stops to lace his shoes for one minute then Howard lives
- Police are not watching Jimmy's apartment despite the fact that he helped Lalo skip bail and should have an Interpol warrant or FBI/CIA warrant
- Lalo is traveling alone without any protection but manages to get an arsenal of weapons through international customs
- Jimmy and Kim leave their door unlocked despite Kim knowing that Lalo is alive so that Lalo can make some faggy dramatic entrance
- If the door is locked and closed then they can call 911 or hide both Kim and Howard in a bedroom closet
- Kimmy does not tell Jimmy that Lalo is alive despite it literally being a life and death piece of information and endangers her life as well
- Lalo kills Howard in a way where they can possibly frame it as a suicide, he shot himself in the head, instead of stabbing him to death or shooting him several times

This show has gotten beyond lame. This fanbase needs to be culled.

The cops think Lalo’s dead

Yesterday's episode was pretty fawking good to be perfectly honest witcha
its pat level writing tbchwy, not only did they fuck over handsome Opie but Saul also got da girl while listening to opster getting mentally devastated. not to mention all the old folks he fuck over just to get a "win"

i really hate saul and kim mang, howard defended saul against chuck and kim owes everything to him, and all they did was to fuck him over for no reason

I didn't even think of that. Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul were full of so many amazing coincidences that I stopped questioning it.

If you've ever listened to Vince Gilligan's podcast he keeps saying that "coincidences that help your characters are bad, but coincidences that hurt your characters are good". He's basically right if you're doing it as a one-off, but if you keep doing it every episode across every show you just look like a hack.

So there's this great little lookout spot across the street from the laundry, and Mike never knew about it. The expert drilling engineer didn't have knowledge of nearby tunnels? Gus didn't have blueprints for underground sewers right next to his secret underground lab? This show is dumb and made for dumb people.

Mike didn't know about it. Gus didn't know about it. Werner didn't know about it.
But somehow, Lalo does! Yuck.

love the growth that we've seen in this metric over the last few seasons of BCS especially!

Do ya, ya fucking faggot? The comments on that thread too - "Kim is the most badass female character evah!! This must be why! :giggle:"

I hate Reddit so much.

Haven't bothered watching the past 3 episodes. Completely lost any interest I had in this.

Kim - I imagine she's either in prison or is killed during BB.

Nacho - Mike probably introduced him and his dad to the vacuum guy, which is why Saul knows about the vacuum guy.

Lalo - I'm guessing he was in Breaking Bad the entire time, because after Gus had him killed he made Mike bury him under the south wall of the lab. The whole "and that's the south wall?" Was probably foreshadowing where he was buried.

Saul - I think it's all going to end with him turning himself into the police, representing himself in court and getting off. Probably at the end some reporter on the news will call him Saul Goodman and he'll correct them and tell them that his name is Jimmy McGill.
Fawk, you were right about Lalo!
