If my future son is anything like me, he’d end up unintentionally bullying him by tossing a well meaning but unnecessary insult in the middle of an otherwise friendly conversation.
“It’s pretty awesome you’re dating Ashley, she’s very good looking and super cool. What’s really great is that she definitely likes you for your personality because, and I’m sure you’ll agree with me when I say this, you’re not the best looking guy in the world. Either way, That’s cool man, very happy for you. Let’s play halo later.”

Instead of attending and emotionally supporting his wife at her fathers funeral, he chose(?) to stay home and be SWATTed.
Perhaps he was explicitly not invited to the funeral and he found a way to put the spotlight back on him.
He had no other commitments, it's pretty fucked up to let your wife go to her fathers funeral alone, even if you dont attend the service and see the family etc. you would still travel up with her (though she prob stayed with family and not a hotel and pat is a poorcel so couldnt afford it)

While there's not 100% damning evidence that proves Patrick is a danger to kids, I think there's enough to suggest he shouldn't be around them. Not only because he's threatened to kill a child before but also because many of his friends and peers at the SFWA are confirmed pedophiles, he's done standup with a guy who got busted with kiddy porn, and he's been facebook friends with a registered sex offender for many years. Where there's smoke, there's fire, and I think Patrick is ducking through the alleys on this one.

Never in a million years. Even if he was a good friend his attitude towards children is a clear red flag that he would be worse than shit and possibly even dangerous. He'd be inattentive and tweeting the whole time.
It says a whole lot that his favorite dehumanizing insult is "child". If a six year old called him a dumb poopyhead I have no doubt in my mind that he would be so wounded he would seek out some kind of petty revenge, even if it was just something cunty like scaring them or taunting them until they cried.
It can only be a really good thing Patrick can't see his daughter.

The dad in Peppa Pig is fat and Peppa always points it out, it's one of the running gags of the show. Predictably, fat blue hairs regularly accuse the show of "fat shaming." Kids find it hilarious though because they love to point out the obvious, especially when they're 4-6 years old. A friend's son straight up asked this beer-bellied guy at a barbecue "why is your tummy so big?" It took all my powers not to burst out laughing.

There's something that really stings about being curt like that. O&A and Patrice talked about it one time when someone from management told Opie, kind of disgusted, "...pull your pants up." I told a coworker that I didn't like his nostril hairs and the next day they were gone, I had no idea that my comment would bother him so much.

Absolutely. Colin's "I don't like your...insert x. Fix that" that Norton stole. Always cutting. Similarly "You're fat" is always the most effective Pig Whisperer line to Pat. Short and sharp. And, most importantly, true.
