Why do Hollywood keep pushing these dreadful big budget movies with gays and blacks in? They must know they will flop.
I know it's a game/movie made for autistic children but why the fuck do all the human characters look so fucking weird? They're all fat as fuck and dressed like complete retards. I'm guessing they just shoved Jack Black in it because people liked him in the Mario movie. It's just incredible how much money gets pumped into producing absolute shit for TV and movies now.

Sometimes people in the movie business just don't know what they are doing without there being any nefarious agenda.
When I saw stills of the first Mario movie as a young child, I thought that it doesn't at all properly represent the games and decided that I wouldn't watch it. Back then I lacked the maturity to go complain about it to people.
Because Hollywood, ironically, is full of uncreative people who don’t know how to make a movie appealing, let alone good.
We just had the fully animated Mario movie, which critics seemed to like, and it made a billion dollars. The exception. Then you have the live action Borderlands movie, which bombed ratings and box office wise. The rule.
I’m not surprised a room of boardroom execs workshopping the Minecraft movie said “Make it half CGI half realistic. Oh also make the CGI god awful and not the same art style as the games. Put Jack Black in there, the kids like him, right?”
Blacks being in this movie is seriously the least of its issues. But of course, if it gets bad reviews or bombs, people like Nobacon will say thats the ONLY reason. As if a 6 year old gives a fuck that a fat black lady is in his Minecraft movie.
