No you don't understand. Patrick is well known as a badass conservative, (shoots guns, drives kickass muscle cars, tells it like it is) while still being secretly into super dorky things like Star Wars and Tolkien stuff. I guess you could call him a stealthy geek!

He gave up around the time Gary Z or whatever lied to him about some show being cancelled to avoid telling him that he sucks too much to share the stage with a bunch of glorified open mic comics. He didn't really care that much about comedy and just wanted that as a blurb item.

You know he sucks at both because during some podcast with Adam Rakunas someone asked how writing comedy and writing novels is different and he strongly proclaimed "they aren't different at all". They're two completely different forms, fucking Dunning-Kruger Effect retard. Of course they're different, unless you're just producing shit, since shit is shit.
