I am currently in a cold war with this old boomer fuck who is a "one upper." No matter what he says, or what you say in response, he will always feel the need to correct you or restate exactly what you said as if he came up with it and just blew your mind. He tells jokes so corny that there's not even any irony too it... He literally just says a terrible unamusing observation aloud to anyone who will hear. I hate when our lunch breaks overlap and I have to deal with him walking in.. *exhale* "Well, looks like it's my lunch time!" THANKS FOR SHARING MINE STARTED 45 MINUTES AGO AND I DIDN'T FEEL THE NEED TO MAKE AN ANNOUNCEMENT.

At first I dealt with it alone, and then one day I overheard a group of 3 or 4 co-workers talking shit about how he's a blather mouth that always has to top your story. I felt vindicated.

I fucking hate when I hear him yapping to someone, and they start fake laughing at his dumbass brain dead comments. Just gassing his head up to make him do it more. But I love when he starts holding someone hostage and I meet eyes with them and see the desperation to get away but he doesn't give them any window to close the convo without it looking insanely rude.

Another annoying as FUCK boomer thing is that they take any criticism that's clearly directed at the worst of their generation personally. Like if someone bitches about "lazy Millenials" I won't get mad because I know I work my ass off. But if you make a similar generalization about boomers they'll fag out and tell you it's simply not true, child because THEY'RE not like that!

They also love repeating easily disproven lies as if we don't have literal encyclopedias in our pockets at all times. They'll even tell stories that are obvious lies that we have heard dozens of boomers tell before as if they really happened to them ("My wife's a teacher, she had a student named Shithead! Pronounced sha-theed!" DID SHE).
