Best music in any television show period. Keep in mind every show before this didn’t have soundtracks and if they did they had original pieces or went very light on a music budget. The Sopranos has no soundtrack. It is ALL licensed songs and David Chase said the reason why is to make it feel more real. They had an insane music budget throughout the show because they would do things like have a song appear for 6 seconds in the background when Tonys in a room just to make it feel more real, and that shit costs hella money, nigga!

The Sopranos, Grand Theft Auto, and ECDUB share the same music heavy late 90s early 2000s vibe that can't be recaptured in any other era. The lowkey music always adds a third dimension to the experience and has people asking "does anybody know the name of that song they used in this part?"

Great song for setting the diner scene and the band's whole discography rules too.
