They're going to take this opportunity to label dissenters as "enemy combatants" and impose more insane restrictions on our lives and take away freedoms. Wouldn't surprise me if a nuke or 2 goes off in the meantime to further increase fear and gain compliance. Once they get their way they will determine that it isn't worth it to get into a pissing match with a country that has nukes, and pull out with all the restrictions intact and politicians/commentators sitting in jail. Now is probably a bad time to be getting on your high horse.
